The Congressional oversight panel has published a set of roughly 70 images from the estate of former found guilty sexual predator Jeffrey Epstein.

This represents the third publication from a larger collection of more than 95,000 images the body has secured from Epstein's holdings. It includes photographs of passages from the literary work Lolita scrawled across a woman's body, and obscured photos of women's international passports.

This action comes just hours before the December 19th due date for the DOJ to disclose all documents connected to its investigation into Epstein.

"These new photos raise additional queries about what exactly the Department of Justice has in its custody," said the Democratic lead of the panel, Robert Garcia.

What is in the Photographs Released

Several of the images made public on recently depict Epstein conversing with academic and activist Noam Chomsky inside a private plane; Bill Gates positioned next to a female whose identity is redacted; Steve Bannon positioned at a table facing Epstein, and ex- Alphabet president Sergey Brin at a dinner gathering.

These are the most recent high-net-worth, powerful figures to be photographed in Epstein's estate photographs released by the oversight panel - earlier released pictures also include US President Donald Trump and former president Bill Clinton, as well as movie director Woody Allen, ex- US treasury secretary Larry Summers, counsel Alan Dershowitz, Andrew Mountbatton-Windsor, and additional individuals.

Showing up in the photographs is does not constitute indication of any wrongdoing, and several of the photographed individuals have stated they were in no way involved in Epstein's unlawful actions.

In a press release issued alongside the photograph release, Democrats on the US House Oversight Committee stated the Epstein property holders did not supply context or dates for the pictures.

"Photographs were chosen to furnish the public with transparency into a representative sample of the photographs obtained from the holdings, and to provide insights into Epstein's circle and his extremely alarming behavior," the statement states.

The disclosure also includes several photographs of quotes from the Vladimir Nabokov book Lolita penned in black ink across different parts of a woman's body, like her chest, foot, hipbone, and back. Lolita narrates the account of a minor who was manipulated by a older literature professor.

A particular quote from the book written across a female's chest says, "Lolita's name: the end of the tongue making a journey of three steps down the palate to alight, at three, on the teeth".

The release also contains a number of images of female travel documents and official papers from nations worldwide, such as Lithuania, Russia, the Czech Republic, and Ukraine.

The majority of the data on the IDs, such as identities and DOBs, is obscured but the committee indicated in a press release that the passports pertain to "women whom Jeffrey Epstein and his conspirators were involved with".

An additional image shows Epstein sitting at a workstation closely in the company of three female figures whose features have been censored - a first has her hand on Epstein's torso under his clothing, and a second is bending to examine a adjacent device. Epstein can be seen to be aiding the third fasten a piece of jewelry.

An additional image made public is a capture of text messages from an unidentified sender who claims they have been provided "some girls" and are requesting "$1000 per girl".

Photograph Disclosure Comes Prior to DOJ Due Date

The committee has many thousands of images in its holdings from the Epstein property, which are "both explicit and ordinary," its press release on this week explained.

The House Oversight Committee first subpoenaed the property of Epstein, who passed away in a New York prison in 2019 while facing trial on accusations of human trafficking, in August.

The images and documents the Epstein estate's representatives provided to the body are separate from what is largely termed "the Epstein files". Those are documents in the justice department's custody connected to its independent probe into Epstein.

Under the Transparency Act, which President Trump made law in November, the DOJ has a deadline of 19 December to disclose its files. The scope of what is included in the DOJ's files is unknown, and it's expected that a large amount of the information will be heavily censored, akin to the committee's releases
